Ace Norton (yes, that’s his real name) is an Asian American artist and filmmaker born and raised in Venice, California. Ace creates visuals on a variety of media platforms including music video, advertising, fashion, and film. He also draws, sculpts and is frequently commissioned for his installation and photography work.
A third-generation filmmaker, Ace grew up immersed in the world of cinema. From a young age, he was captivated by the art of storytelling through film, spending countless hours experimenting with cameras and editing. By the time he reached high school, his passion for filmmaking had translated into a substantial body of work- having written and directed dozens of award winning short films.
He attended the University of Southern California’s prestigious film production program, where he refined his craft and built a network of talented peers. Shortly after graduation, Ace co-founded Commondeer Films, a small production company, with several close film school friends. His directing talents quickly caught the industry’s attention, resulting in his signing with renowned production companies globally, including Partizan, Prettybird, Solab, and JOJX.
